Judge Stacey Romeo has made incredibly appalling decisions since first taking the bench in 2017. She has shown an extreme bias in favor of biological parents, even when those parents have credible allegations of sexual and physical abuse against their kids, backed up by multiple professional therapists and evaluators. She has shown a shocking disregard for the safety of vulnerable children, by coercing the signing of a settlement in her courtroom which gives a convicted sex offender and sexually violent offender with allegations of abuse, unsupervised time with those very children who he allegedly abused.
Judge Romeo is indifferent to the suffering of children who desperately need a wise and caring arbiter who will hear all the evidence before making decisions which will permanently affect the course of their lives. We seek to bring greater attention to the dangers awaiting children who depend on the Child Protective system (CPS and Family Court).
